Limehouse ward - Updates |
||
|
Hello Good People of Limehouse. Apologies for the delayed update, here is a brief overview of incidents reported in Limehouse over the past week, along with some advice to help keep our community safe.
Anti-Social Behaviour We have received reports of vehicle-related anti-social behaviour on Lamb Court, Narrow Street, involving individuals using nitrous oxide (“balloons”) within vehicles.
There have also been reports of individuals smoking cannabis around Keeper Wharf, Narrow Street, causing concern to local residents.
Your local officers will continue to carry out patrols in these areas to address these issues.
Theft From Motor Vehicle A catalytic converter was cut from a vehicle and stolen on Three Colt Street.
These offences are often carried out quickly and target unattended vehicles. If possible, consider parking in well-lit areas and reporting any suspicious behaviour around vehicles.
Theft From a Person A mobile phone was reported stolen on Limehouse Causeway.
Please remain aware of your surroundings when using your phone in public and avoid standing close to the roadside where opportunistic snatch thefts can occur.
Police Activity Your Limehouse Safer Neighbourhood Team have been conducting high-visibility patrols across the ward, particularly in areas highlighted for anti-social behaviour and theft.
We will continue to respond to community concerns and take action where offences are identified.
General Advice • Be aware of your surroundings when using your phone in public places. • Report vehicle-related suspicious behaviour immediately. • Avoid leaving vehicles unattended in poorly lit or isolated areas where possible. • Report anti-social behaviour via 101, or 999 in an emergency.
We will be providing another update later this week to keep you informed
